Police reports from Hollidaysburg, Huntingdon and Philipsburg State Police
A burglary incident occurred on Findley Avenue in Antis Township sometime between March 12 and March 25.
Unknown actor(s) entered into a garage at the William McCartney residence by tearing the hasp off the door. Once inside, they removed a motorized skateboard with a seat and handle bars.

A theft occurred at 9266 South Eagle Valley Road in Port Matilda, Worth Township between March 13 and March 21.
Edward Frantz reported that unknown person(s) stole $125 in cash from his residence during the time frame listed above.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PA State Police at Philipsburg.

A theft and criminal mischief occurred outside of Martin’s Supermarket in Bellemeade, Antis Township March 18.
Actor(s) smashed out the paper money acceptor on a Coca-Cola machine outside the store. They removed $19 of one dollar bills and caused $250 in damage to the machine.

A burglary occurred on Parshall Lane in Antis Township between March 19 and March 22.
Unknown actor(s) forcibly entered the home of Charles Adams by prying open the front door with a blunt object. Once inside the residence, the actor(s) removed two bottles of beer, approximately $400 in one dollar bills, and two gold wedding rings.

A burglary occurred along SR 4027 in Snyder Township, March 22.
Matthew Eric Rhoades reported that he was asleep and awoke to hear people walking around the second floor of his residence. Nothing was found to be damaged, moved, or tampered with upon arrival of police.

A harassment incident occurred in Tipton, Antis Township, March 22.
Lori Steber reported that she has been getting harassing and threatening emails from a Blair County resident.
The investigation continues.

A one vehicle accident occurred on Old Route 220 near Northwood, Snyder Township, March 22.
Pauline Shirk, age 85, was traveling south when her vehicle left the west side of the road, struck the guardrails, and went over the embankment.
She received minor injuries.

A hit and run accident occurred along SR 1001 at Sabbath Rest Road, Antis Township, March 22.
A white four door sedan, the make and model unknown, was traveling north on SR 1001 and impacted into the rear of a 1995 Dodge Neon, operated by Elizabeth Moore, age 22, of Tyrone. Moore was stopped behind a 2001 Chevy Silverado, operated by George Johnson, age 59, of Warriors Mark. Moore’s vehicle was pushed into the rear of Johnson’s vehicle.
The white sedan fled the scene north on SR 1001.

A three vehicle accident occurred on SR 453 just south of Birmingham, March 23.
This occurred as Frederick Bousum III, age 34, of Alexandria was traveling north on SR 453. He failed to negotiate a right hand curve in the roadway, traveled into the southbound lane striking a vehicle operated by John Barlett II, age 48 of Tyrone, who was traveling south. Barlett’s vehicle was struck on the left rear side and thrown onto the embankment located on the western side of the roadway. Bousum continued traveling northwest crossing into the path of Gregory Muri, age 54 of Altoona, who was traveling south. Muri was struck on the right side. Bousum struck and traveled over the western guide rail coming to rest hanging over the edge of the embankment. Bousum and Barlett were transported to Tyrone Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
