An incident of access device fraud occurred at Decker Mobile Court in Antis Township on June 22, 2006.
PA State Police report that Sharon Kay Reigh, age 37, of Altoona applied for a credit card in her mother, Ellen Reigh’s name, and intercepted it when it came to her mother’s residence in the mail. Sharon Reigh then used the card to make over $500 in purchases and cash advances.
Charges include access device fraud, theft by deception and identity theft.

An incident involving altered, forged, or counterfeit documents occurred in Antis Township and the City of Altoona during the time between September 12, 2006 and December 15, 2006.
PA State Police report that charges were filed against Randy Jay Poorman, Sr., age 47, of Altoona, as a result of possessing and displaying a fraudulent Certificate of Inspection and Certificate of Emission on his 1994 Chevrolet Blazer and a fraudulent Certificate of Inspection on a 1984 Chevrolet Scottsdale that he traded at Vince’s Auto Sales along Mill Run Road in Altoona.
Poorman was also charged with numerous summary charges including title and inspection violations.

PA State Police reported a theft in Spruce Creek Township, May 5.
On the above date, unknown actor(s) arrived at the home of Nadine Morrow and stole scrap aluminum that was piled up along the side of the house and also stole two windows that were lying on the ground. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Huntingdon State Police.

A harassment incident occurred along SR 865 in Antis Township, May 9.
PA State Police report that a 16-year-old male juvenile of Altoona, was cited for harassment after he punched the victim, a 14-year-old male juvenile of Blandburg, in the face multiple times.

A theft incident occurred along Quarry Road near Ironville, Snyder Township on May 9.
PA State Police report that unknown actor(s) cut and removed the copper ground wire from several utility poles.

An incident of criminal mischief occurred along Bear Hollow Road in Antis Township, May 9.
PA State Police report that a 9-year-old juvenile of Altoona damaged flowers at the home of Phyllis C. Graham. The actor was counseled and the incident was handled within the department.

A one vehicle accident occurred along SR 220 in Port Matilda Borough, May 10.
Philipsburg State Police report that Steven Smith, age 20, of Warriors Mark was southbound on SR 220 and apparently fell asleep. He drifted across the roadway and traveled off the east edge, striking a road sign. He continued southbound before striking a house.
Smith received moderate injuries.

A D.U.I. related hit and run crash occurred in the Northwood section of Snyder Township, May 10.
PA State Police report that Daniel J. Gurekovich, age 21, of Tyrone was traveling north on Meade Street. He struck a 1994 Ford Thunderbird sedan, which was legally parked. After striking the vehicle, he fled the scene and abandoned his vehicle approximately one half of a mile from the scene. He was subsequently located walking toward Tyrone Borough. Gurekovich was taken into custody and at the completion of the crash investigation, transported to Tyrone Hospital for a blood test.
At the conclusion of the blood test, he was transported to the Blair County Prison where he was housed on a parole detainer. Charges were filed before the Magisterial District Judge for D.U.I., leaving the scene of a crash, and other summary vehicle code violations.

A D.U.I. incident occurred at the intersection of SR 550 and SR 350 in Warriors Mark Township, May 11.
PA State Police reported that Lester Walters, age 34, of Warriors Mark was stopped on SR 550 at a stop sign at the intersection of SR 350. Witnesses observed Walters was stopped at the intersection for more than two hours. He was found asleep in the driver seat of the vehicle. His vehicle was in ‘park’ with the engine running. Walters was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

An incident of criminal mischief occurred at the intersection of North 9th Street and West Logan in Bellwood Borough.
PA State Police report that an unknown actor(s) shot the windshield and rear side window of the victim, James E. DeArmitt III’s vehicle.
Estimated damage is set at $450.

A D.U.I. incident occurred along Grandview Road (SR 4015) at Lower Riggles Gap Road in Antis Township, May 13.
PA State Police report that Frank Westley Weatherwalk, age 34, of Altoona was observed traveling north along SR 4015, committing traffic violations. Roadside investigations revealed that the accused was intoxicated on alcoholic beverages. Accused was arrested for D.U.I. and taken to Bon Secours Hospital for blood testing, which was refused.
The accused was released pending the filing of charges through the office of Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.
