An incident of criminal mischief occurred along SR 1013 (Sinking Valley Road) in Tyrone Township, between August 1 and August 2.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that unknown actor(s) smashed Matthew Broadbent’s mailbox.

A harassment incident occurred along Frantz Lane, just off Becker Road in Antis Township, August 4.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Melissa Maxwell, age 22, went to her mother-in-law’s residence to pick up her children. While she was there, an argument occurred and the mother-in-law, Kathy Maxwell, age 53, allegedly grabbed a hold of Melissa Maxwell, struck her and spit on her. Melissa Maxwell then allegedly struck Kathy Maxwell across her left wrist with her open hand. Melissa Maxwell then left Kathy Maxwell’s residence.
Both were arrested for harassment.

A one vehicle accident occurred along SR 1001 in the Grazierville area of Snyder Township, August 6.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Debra Hileman, age 38, of Tyrone was southbound on SR 1001 when she looked away from the road in order to light a cigarette. While she was doing so, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a guide rail.
Hileman was not injured and was wearing her seatbelt.

A one vehicle accident occurred along SR 4019 in Antis Township, August 8.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Kenneth Morningstar, age 18, of Bellwood was negotiating a sharp curve in the road in the Pinecroft area when he lost control, left the road, and hit a large rock in a yard.
Morningstar will be cited for failing to drive his vehicle at a safe speed for conditions.
He was not injured and was wearing his seat belt.

An incident of disorderly conduct occurred along Interstate 99 in Logan Township, August 10.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that a 16-year-old male juvenile from Tyrone was a passenger in a 1995 Mercury Sable and was observed pointing and shining a spotlight at passing motorists.
A traffic stop was conducted and the juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct.

An incident of disorderly conduct occurred at Tyrone Hospital, August 10.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that George Emory, age 50, of Tyrone was charged with disorderly conduct after causing a disturbance in the Hospital Emergency Room.

An accident involving a motorcycle occurred along SR 1008 in Antis Township, August 11.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Cory James DeArmitt, age 18, of Bellwood lost control of his motorcycle, apparently when the rear tire went flat. His motorcycle impacted the road.
DeArmitt was wearing a helmet and only received minor injuries.

A one vehicle accident involving an alleged DUI occurred along SR 4015 in Antis Township, August 11.
Hollidaysburg State Police report that Frederick Teigler, age 56, of Altoona was taken into custody for DUI after it was discovered he had backed his vehicle into a ditch along SR 4015. He was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for a blood test to determine his BAC. He was later processed and released.
Charges will be filed before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller in Tyrone.
