The Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce is excited about a project its been working on all year.
The Barash Group, which publishes Town&Gown magazine, the Penn State Football Annual, the Official Program Guide for the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, along with various business directories and chamber guides, has recently published the 2007-08 Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce Visitors Guide.
The guide includes a message from Chamber President Sandi DelGrosso; a message from Mayor Jim Kilmartin; a welcome to the Tyrone area; a pictorial look back on Tyrone through the years; Tyrone’s annual community activities; churches and cemeteries directory; social and service clubs directory; map of local phone numbers for emergencies, government, utilities and more and a listing of Tyrone businesses and industries for 2007-08.
With 46 pages of color ads, photos and information, the guide also acts as a nice souvenir for tourists who come to the area for a visit, and it’s a nice keepsake for area residents as well.
Twenty-thousand copies of the guide were recently distributed around the area and are available for free at the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce office, The Daily Herald, guide advertisers, Chamber members, visitors centers and key locations across the state.
