‑The Tyrone Area Community Organization has announced the annual Halloween parade is scheduled for tomorrow at 6 p.m.
Registration for the parade is at the Tyrone Borough Highway Building on Lincoln Avenue. Registration time is 4:30 to 5:45 p.m., and registrations will not be accepted after 5:45 p.m.
To be eligible for prizes, you must be registered and with your group during judging.
This year, first and second prizes will be awarded for floats. The judging area is located near the gazebo at Epworth Manor.
Line-up for the parade begins at 5:15 p.m. on Lincoln Avenue.
Cider and donuts will be served, and prizes will be awarded at the Tyrone Armory after the parade.
In case of uncooperative weather, a rain date is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23 at 6 p.m.

TACO schedules several community service projects throughout the year.
TACO conducts its annual Radio Auction every February, which raises funds for the group to continue its many community service projects.
Besides sponsoring the “Boss of the Year” and “Distinguished Service” awards, TACO also sponsors such events as the Easter egg hunt, the fish rodeo and the Halloween parade.
It also sponsors a pee-wee baseball team and youth football competition as well as awards four scholarships of $500 each to seniors at Tyrone Area High School.
TACO meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. and dues are $10 a year. Individuals must be 16-years-old to participate.
