Forgery
Between July 11 and September 21, state police reported a female suspect, 41, Port Matilda wrote several checks from the checking account of an unnamed Port Matilda resident and forged the person’s name on the checks. This investigation is continuing.

Spray painted on pool
State police reported on October 7 an act of criminal mischief at the intersection of Decker Hollow Road and Gardner Lane, Snyder Township. An unknown actor utilized black spray paint and spray painted words and other markings on the side of an above ground pool owned by Susan R. Bonsell of Tyrone.

Harassment
On October 14, state police reported that Diedre Harpster of Port Matilda struck Ryan Hamer, 24, Port Matilda in the mouth with a closed fist. The incident occurred at 510 Oak Street, Port Matilda Borough. A citation was filed.

Can’t hunt here
Dave Hostler, RD 2, Tyrone reported to state police that a hunter was trespassing on his property and hunting within a safety zone. The incident occurred on October 16 on property between SR 865 and Igou Road, Antis Township.

Aggravated assault
State police reported an incident at Greentree Group Home, along SR 4027, Snyder Township on October 16. Police say Renee Toney of Altoona was injured by a 16-year-old male resident of Greentree during an altercation that occurred as the juvenile was trying to walk away from the facility.
