Liquor Law violation
On April 5, the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported that Jo-Mar Restaurant, Inc., also known as The Bull Pen, sold, furnished, and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to one visibly intoxicated male patron, in violation of Section 493(1) of the Liquor Code. These charges will be brought before an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses, and up to $5,000 got more serious offenses, along with other penalties.

Copper theft
State police reported on May 16 that unknown actor(s) cut down the solid copper neutral line from utility poles, owned by Penelec, along Cook Hollow Road in Snyder Twp. The actor(s) cut five spans of the wire totaling approximately 2,100 feet in length, then fled the scene. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact PA State Police in Hollidaysburg at 696-6100.
