Harassment
On December 11, state police cited Donald Raymond Dillon, 76, Tyrone and Duayne Carnett Dillon, 43, Tyrone for harassment after they grabbed and pushed Claude Clark Lewis, 72, Tyrone during an argument. The incident occurred at SR 4027 and Templeton Rd., Snyder Township.

DUI crash
State police reported on January 1 that Trevor D. Harbst, 22, Warriors Mark lost control of the 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe he was operating as he attempted to negotiate the vehicle through a left curve along SR 453, less than a mile south of Tyrone Borough. The vehicle spun partially counter-clockwise and traveled in that manner across the opposite lane. The right rear corner of the vehicle struck a rock embankment causing the right rear wheel to be torn from the vehicle. Harbst was found seated in the driver’s seat by other motorists who arrived on the scene subsequent to the crash.
Harbst was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to Bon Secours for blood-alcohol testing. He was later admitted to the hospital due to his declining physical condition once he was at the hospital.

Theft from motor vehicles
On January 13 while on routine patrol, state police spotted Derick Allen Clapper, 18, Tyrone and a 15-year old male from Tipton acting suspiciously near a vehicle parked along South Lincoln Avenue in Tyrone Borough. Investigation revealed that the pair had entered that unlocked vehicle in a search for money and valuables, as well as at least two other vehicles parked along the same avenue. The pair was in possession of stolen property. The vehicle owners, Melissa Hilands, Brandon Hoover and Lisa Hensley, all of Tyrone, were contacted by police and had the stolen property returned to them.
The two who were accused were released to family members following fingerprinting at the state police station in Hollidaysburg. A criminal complaint will be filed against Clapper, charging him with Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Conspiracy to Commit Theft from a Motor Vehicle and Corruption of Minors.
A juvenile petition will be filed against the 15-year-old male, charging him with Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property and Conspiracy to Commit Theft from a Motor Vehicle.
