The Tyrone Junior High Girls Basketball team (3-13) lost to Indian Valley (8-8) 29-19 at Tyrone, on Tuesday.
Olivia Stever let the young Lady Eagles with six points and two rebounds. Kayla Bates had five points and three assists, Ivy Tangen had four points, Nicole Gripp had four points, Lindsay Emigh had two assists and Morgan Taylor had two rebounds in a losing cause.
It was a tightly contested game until the fourth quarter.
The game was tied at halftime 14-14 and IV was up after three periods 20-17 but pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Melissa Corbin led the way for Warriors with 19 points.
The Lady Eagles of Coach Kevin Bates, will be traveling to Philipsburg-Osceola for an road game to play the Mounties on Friday.
