League officials of the Tyrone VFW Teener League have set April 7 for registration and tryouts for the 2008 VFW Teener League season.
Registration and tryouts will be held rain or shine at Ferner Field from 5 p.m. to dusk.
Competition eligibility requires youth to be 13, 14, 15 or 16 years old to participate.
The athlete must not become 17 before August 1 to be eligible for the 2008 season.
Parents or guardians must be present and provide a copy of the youth’s birth certificate.
There is a registration fee.
