The 2008 Jeanos Tyrone Youth Baseball Minor League team recently wrapped up a near-perfect season, by going 18-0-1 and winning the TYBA Minor League championship. This amazing feat didn’t come easy though as the other four Minor League teams battled until the final out in several games. Kudos to Chill-N-Grill, Cowfer’s Construction, Knights of Columbus and Elks for a great season. Knights of Columbus, coached by Dave Irwin, was the only team to keep Jeanos from perfection, tying them 9-9, in a game that ended under the league’s time-limit rule.
