In the bottom of the third Tyrone went down in order with three fly outs.
In the top of the fourth Golden struck out the side but Tyrone was also set down in order again.
With two outs and no one on Park Furniture scored two unearned runs in the top of the fifth. Cody Smith misjudged a fly to left putting Zimmerman on second. Golden then walked McCullough who stole second and  both runners scored on a single by Rossman to cut the lead to 5 to 4.
In the bottom of the fifth Tyrone’s Brooks got on first via a error by the third baseman but was thrown out stealing second.  Desch then hit a single up the middle. Golden hit a ball to short which forced Desch out at second. Park Furniture’s second baseman then committed an error on a ball hit to him by Brock Anders allowing Golden to score. Mike Moore then flied out for the third out.
Golden didn’t allow any runs in the sixth or seventh and Tyrone (7-7)  added a run in the bottom of the sixth on singles by Taylor and Smith and another single by Hunter scoring Taylor to make it 7 to 4 for the Tyrone win.
Tyrone Manager Chris Futrick was pleased with his teams performance. “After losing by one run to Bellwood last night it’s good to get back on track with a win. Tyler Golden who had a sore arm for two weeks is back and he is back healthy. If we can keep our pitchers healthy we will be in it at the end.
“I will put my money on Tyler, Matt,  Eric and Donnie against any team in this League.  We had a couple of key hits tonight. Brooks came through with a triple to score two big runs and Taylor and Hunter added two hits apiece. These kids really want to win every game they play and they are improving with each game. We play again Friday night at 6 p.m. against Dick’s Pharmacy, at Mansion Park, come out and support us.”
