Breaking Bread Ministries has just celebrated two years of feeding many people in the Tyrone area on Monday through Friday evenings.
Centered in Church of the Good Shepherd, the ministry has evolved into a time of special fellowship over the meal at the church for some or appreciating a hot meal being delivered to their home for others.
Soni Mater and Jackie Catich were the ones who helped create and shape the ministry. Their love for people and for Jesus Christ has been central to the making of the ministry.
Although they love the people and the ministry, they are retiring from Breaking Bread Ministries.
Church of the Good Shepherd wishes to thank Soni and Jackie for their devotion and hard work to this ministry.
The meal ministry of Church of the Good Shepherd is to be closed temporarily for reorganization beginning today through Friday, July 11.
The ministry will reopen again on Monday, July 14.
Meals can be eaten at the church or may be delivered.
The meals will be served three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
