Grier School won three of the five singles matches against Tyrone and then iced the match win by edging the Lady Eagles in both doubles matches to take a 5-2 victory, on Monday.
Maria Ventosa, Lindsey Pryor and Zoya Ahmed won singles matches for Grier School, while Tyrone’s Emily Tompkins and Amy Lewis won at the Number Three and Five singles.
In the doubles competition, Ventosa and Pryor teamed to defeat Laura Thompson and Elena Myers 8-6, and Kelley Griffin and Ahmed downed Maryelyn Hunter and Lewis by the same identical 8-6 margin.
