Liquor Law violation
On April 1, the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement reported that Legion Home Association of Tyrone, located at 1459 Lincoln Avenue, failed to maintain complete and truthful records covering the operation of the licensed business for a period of two years immediately preceding April 1, 2008, concerning the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act, in violation of Sections 471 and 493(12) of the Liquor Code, Section 311 of the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act, 10 P.S. 311 and Section 901 of the Department of Revenue Relations, 61 Pa. Code 901.
The charges will be brought before Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In additions, the ALJ can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought. The ALJ can also mandate training for the license in an effort to educate them on the requirements of being a licensee.

Threw brick
State police reported on May 14 that an unknown actor traveled past the Burket Road residence of Tracy L. McNelis of Tyrone and threw a brick at her car that was parked along the road. The brick dented the car and scratched the paint. The actor then fled the scene. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $500. Anyone with information into this incident should contact the State Police in Huntingdon.

Stolen vehicle
On May 15, state police reported a 2001 Ford Explorer, white in color, owned by Joseph M. Reese, Jr., 37, Tyrone, was parked unlocked along SR 4027 in Snyder Twp. with its keys in the vehicle. An unknown suspect drove away with the vehicle. The vehicle’s registration number is GDZ8040.
