Description: The Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania (BIAPA) will hold a Brain Safety Fair on September 6th 2009 from 12 noon to 5 PM at DelGrosso\’s Amusement Park. It will be in conjunction with \”The Last Blast of Summer\” by FrontLine Ministries.
Volunteers from St. Francis University, Penn State Altoona Campus and Health South Rehabilitation Hospitals of Altoona and Nittany Valley will help in the display of educational stations on brain function and safety. A free bicycle helmet fitting and give away will also be planned with over 500 helmets of various sizes to be given to all ages due to funding by SafeKids of Pennsylvania.
