Among the many activities scheduled for the 2008 Yuletyme Tyrone celebration is the ever popular Soup Sampling Contest. Various restaurateurs will provide their most popular soups, which the public will sample throughout the evening and then judge. The votes will be tallied at the end of the evening, determining the winners.
This year, the tasty Soup Sampling will be held on Thursday, December 4 from 4 until 7 p.m., at Graystone Court, 1747 Adams Avenue, Tyrone. (You are being asked to use the 17th Street entrance into Graystone. Aside from ample street parking, there will be a limited number of spaces within the 17th Street Graystone parking lot.) Tickets for the event are available at the Chamber of Commerce office, Gardner’s Candies, Graystone Courts and from any committee member.
