Burglary
Over the night of October 18, state police reported a burglary at Superior Lumber in Tyrone. Unknown actor(s) forcibly entered into two trailers owned by Kenneth Lloyd Eyer and Andrade Gonzales Orlando, both of Tyrone, and stole items from within. Total theft was $120, and total damage was $500.

Theft
On October 19, state police stated that David A. Diehl, 30, Cresson removed a pair of blue jeans and $280 from the apartment of Shawna Prosser, 28, Tyrone. Diehl was living with Prosser at the time. The incident occurred at Woodland Manor Townhouses in Antis Township.

Stole Tree Stand
State police said that on November 6, an unknown actor took a tree stand that was owned by Brandon Beamer, 26, Warriors Mark. The unattended tree stand was still attached to a tree in a wooded area off of Burket Road in Warriors Mark Township.

Alcohol-Related Crash
On November 13, state police reported that a crash occurred as Bradley T. Fink, 25, Port Matilda was traveling south on SR 0453, Birmingham Pike, in Warriors Mark Township. The roadways were wet, but there was no standing water, said police. Fink attempted to negotiate a right hand curve at a high rate of speed. He lost control of his 2007 Mazda 6 and spun clockwise. The vehicle then impacted a guide rail off the right side of the roadway. Police said that alcohol consumption is a factor in the crash. Fink was not wearing a seat belt, but was also not injured. Police were assisted at the scene by AMED and Warriors Mark Fire Company. Fink was charged with driving at an unsafe speed.

DUI Crash
State police reported on November 14 that James Paul Grove, 26, Johnstown was traveling south on SR 0453 in Snyder Township coming from Tyrone. He failed to negotiate a right curve in the roadway and traveled across the oncoming lane of travel and striking a rock cut wall. After impact, Grove’s 1995 Chevrolet truck traveled back across both lanes and struck the guide rail before coming to rest. Grove had to be extricated from the truck by the Hookies Fire Company and the Neptune Fire Company, both of which provided assistance at the scene due to the road being closed. He was then transported to the Altoona ER for medical treatment for moderate injuries, although his seat belt was in use. Grove was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Criminal Mischief
On November 14, state police said that unknown actor(s) drove a vehicle through the front yard of Raymond Mills’ RR 2 Box 62, Tyrone residence. The actor(s) damaged 28 feet of grass that was ripped up by the vehicle tires. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact State Police at Hollidaysburg.

Hit Deer
State police said that on November 14, Daniel John Muthler, 56, Jersey Shore was traveling south on I-99, one mile south of the Bellwood Exit in Antis Township, when a deer jumped the east berm and ran directly into the path of Muthler’s 1994 Oldsmobile. The deer struck the front end of the car. Muthler was not hurt and was wearing his seat belt. Bellwood Fire and Rescue assisted police at the scene.

DUI Crash II
On November 15, state police reported that an accident occurred as Gerald E. Decker, 57, Warriors Mark was heading north on SR 550 in Snyder Township. Decker failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. He then traveled diagonally across the roadway and up an embankment on the west side of the roadway. The rear of Decker’s 1981 Ford Ranger spun counter-clockwise and the right side of the bed struck a tree. The vehicle came to final rest on the west berm of SR 550, facing south. Decker was transported to the Altoona Regional Hospital by AMED. Blood was drawn from Decker to determine his blood alcohol content. Charges for DUI and summary traffic violations are pending results of same. He was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. Neptune Fire Company assisted at the scene.

Simple Assault/Harassment
State police said that on November 16 a trooper responded to a report of a domestic dispute at 2086 Pennington Road in Warriors Mark Township. Michael Aaron Seeger, 20, Warriors Mark and Karen Lynn Sandusky, 36, Warriors Mark had a verbal argument that turned physical when Seeger choked Sandusky and punched her in the face. Simple Assault and Harassment charges are pending in District Court 20-3-02.
