The Bellwood-Antis School District recently announced the dates and times for parent/teacher conferences at Myers Elementary.
With the end of the first marking period on October 29, it’s time once again for conferences, where parents and teachers are encouraged to get together and discuss students’ progress, as well as upcoming plans.
For the parents of all kindergarten through fourth grade students at Myers Elementary, conferences are scheduled for Monday, November 10 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again from 5 to 8:30 p.m.
Parents should already have a scheduled time to meet with their child’s teacher.
Specials teachers such as gym, music, library and art will also be on hand. Parents are invited to stop by to see these teachers as well.
Staff development is also planned Monday between 1 and 3 p.m.
School will not be in session that day and students will also be off on Tuesday, November 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day.
The second marking period will end January 21, 2009.
Also coming up this month is Thanksgiving break, which is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28.
Christmas break will fall on Tuesday, December 23 this year with students returning after the New Year on Monday, January 5.
December 23 and January 2 have also been marked as snow make-up days should they be needed.
