John Ramsey won for the fifth straight week in the Girls Basketball League to maintain a perfect 5-0 mark. Sammy Patterson led a well-balanced attack for John Ramsey in a 32-12 win over Med-Center Pharmacy. Jenna Morgan added eight points, Kiley Dick seven and Maura Belinda four for Ramsey, while Paris Harden had five and Leigha Stewart four for Med-Center Pharmacy (0-5).
State Farm ripped Elks 44-24 in the highest scoring contest of the day. Rachel Emigh poured in a league-best 24 points for State Farm (4-1) and Stephanie Miller added 14. Arianne Miller and Bethany Mertiff led Elks (1-4) with eight points each and Cassie Baird chipped in with four points.
O’s Sew Shop decisioned VFW 20-13 in the final encounter on the hardwood. Ashley Lecher and Laura Cherry had six points each for O’s Sew Shop (3-2) and Crystal Wise added four points. Liz Erickson fronted VFW with 10 points.

Evergreen Farms (14-6) won a pair of games defeating Old Timers 32-18 in the front end with Travis Anderson pumping in 16 points, while Old Timers was led by 18 points from Jeff Adams and 32-22 in the nightcap with Jarrod Anderson hitting 15 points for the winners and Adams leading Old Timers (5-15) with 11 points.
Team # 5 (14-6) took two from Mavericks. In Game One, Jim Koeller poured in a league-best 21 points for Team # 5 in a 33-25 victory while Mike Ashcroft fronted Mavericks with 17 points. Koeller and Mark Derubies each chipped in 11 points for the winners as Team # 5 bested Mavericks in a tightly contested game 32-29. Ashcroft had 14 for Mavericks (7-13).
J-House and Team # 7 split a pair in the final two games of the evening. J-House (11-9) won the first contest 32-27 with Mark Kosoglow’s 17 points leading the way for J-House. Jason Miller had a dozen points for Team # 7. Miller added 13 points in a Team # 7 34-29 win over J-House in the second game with Kosoglow’s 16 leading J-House.
Joshua House (19-1) won two games from P. S. Printing (1-19) by forfeit.

In an evening that was over practically before it started, Joshua House and Old Timers received double forfeits when neither team showed up. Joshua House drops to 19-3 while Team # 5 (16-6) and Evergreen Farms (16-6) each won two games to bring the rest of the league closer to the top runners. Old Timers drops to 5-17.
Team # 5 got their two wins the easy way receiving forfeits from P. S. Printing (1-21)
Evergreen Farms decisioned J-House twice. Travis Anderson led Evergreen Farms in a 32-22 win in Game One, with 12 points, while Mark Kosoglow led J-House with 10 points. In the second game, Jarrod Anderson fronted Evergreen Farms with 13 points in a 32-27 contest, with Kosoglow pouring 19 points for J-House.
Team # 7 won a pair of close games over Mavericks, to get to the .500 level in the standings. Jason Helsel scored 15 points for the winners in a 33-30 decision with Mike Ashcroft leading Mavericks with 15 points. In the second game, Jason Miller’s 17 points led Team # 7 ( 11-11) to a 33-29 verdict over Mavericks 97-15) with Ashcroft getting 15 markers for Mavericks.
