Dope possession
12/30 – Huntingdon-based state police report a 37-year-old Orbisonia man was arrested for public drunkenness in Mudtown. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana seeds and drug paraphernalia.

Arson investigation
12/30 – State police in Hollidaysburg are investigating a suspected incident of arson that occurred at a residence along South Richard Street in Bedford Borough. Police said the structure was not occupied at the time of the fire and damage is estimated at $15,000.
Single-vehicle accident
1/3 – Hollidaysburg-based state police were called to state Route 36 in the area of Hinish Farm Market in Taylor Township to investigate an accident.
Police said Michael Foor of 6 Mile Run was northbound when he lost control of his 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass on the snow-covered roadway and struck a utility pole. The pole fell across SR 36 causing a traffic hazard. The roadway was closed until Sprint could respond and remove the pole.
Police said the roadway was closed for about three hours.
Police were assisted at the scene by Roaring Spring Volunteer Fire Co., who maintained traffic control until the roadway could be re-opened.
Roaring Spring Emergency Medical Services also assisted at the scene.
No injuries reported
1/3 – State police in Hollidaysburg were called to the intersection of SR 164 and township Route 552 in Taylor Township to investigate a two-vehicle accident.
Police said Ryan Stoltzfus of Martinsburg failed to stop his vehicle at a stop sign and slid into the intersection, thus crashing into a vehicle operated by Jay Irvin of Everett. No injuries were reported.
Snow causes accident
1/4 – State police in Philipsburg report Sarah Neal of RD Port Matilda was injured after she lost control of her vehicle while northbound on SR 550 and struck a fence.
