1/12 – Hollidaysburg-based state police report a New Providence man was not injured in a single-vehicle accident along state Route 1001 in Tipton.
Police said John D. Campbell struck a telephone pole after swerving to miss a deer on the roadway.
Theft by Deception
1/9- A Philipsburg investigation continues on four known suspects, all from the Clearfield Area, for cashing payroll checks at the Philipsburg Weis Market.
Police state the checks are being written on a closed account previously held by one of the suspects. The total amount of money received by the suspects to date is $3,100.
Juvenile Rehabilitation Center Escape
1/8-Hollidaysburg police report that a 16-year-old male juvenile escaped from Cove Forge Rehabilitation Center in Williamsburg, Woodbury Township, in Blair County.
The juvenile fled the rehab center while walking between buildings and was found a short time later. The juvenile was court committed from Cumberland County.
