Missing juveniles
2/15 – Two juveniles of Port Matilda were reported missing and were believed to be traveling together as runaways. The next day the Philipsburg police located the teens.
Two vehicle crash
2/15 – A 2003 Oldsmobile was traveling west on SR 45 near Spruce Creek, and a PENNDOT snow plow was plowing snow in the east bound lane. The Oldsmobile failed to move far enough out of the plow’s way, and a minor collision occurred between the vehicles, causing minor damage to both.
Burglary
2/15 – A Philipsburg man reported that some unknown persons arrived on foot and proceeded to enter his shed. They removed various items including tools and several cans of Coors Light. There were numerous footprints left behind that can be traced to a specific size and shoe. It appeared that the persons were at or near other sheds and garages in the area.
