Hot on the heels of their first win of the season, a 2-1 triumph over Great Commission on Saturday, the Tyrone Golden Eagle boys soccer team scored the final goal of regulation and them battled Philipsburg-Osceola scoreless through two overtime periods to gain a 2-2 draw at Tyrone on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into the halftime intermission, on an unassisted goal by Tyler Poorman, but watched the Mounties come back with a pair of second half scores, one on a penalty kick to take the 2-1 lead.
Josh Burwell rallied the Tyrone squad with his own unassisted score to force the game into overtime and neither school could crack the scoring column to finish in a 2-2 tie.
Tyrone (1-6-1) will travel to Indian Valley on Thursday for a match that will begin at 4 p.m.
