Miss Edith C. Ewing, age 78, of Hamburg, NY, and a former resident of Tyrone, died Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
She was born January 25, 1925 in Tyrone, the daughter of John T. and Catherine Campbell Ewing.
She is survived by a sister, Betty Chavis of South Carolina and was the godmother of Edith Roll of Hamburg, NY.
Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Miss Ewing will be held Saturday, March 15, 2003 at 4 p.m. at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Huff officiating.
Interment will be made in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 2-4 p.m.
