Louella M. Patterson, 82, of 603 East 8th Street, Bellwood, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, January 30, 2003 at her home.
She was born April 5, 1920 in Juniata, a daughter of the late Clarence and Gertrude (Ulsh) Worthing. She married James E. Patterson on April 2, 1940 in Bellwood. He died May 7, 1980.
Mrs. Patterson is survived by three sisters: Chloe Weaver, with whom she resided, Jeanette Hicks of Johnstown and Sylvia VanDevander of Glenpool, Ok., and nieces Carol Peterman of Bellwood, Susan Fisher of Saxton and Rebecca Cowan of Altoona.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Bellwood and a former member member of the Marklesburg Fire Company Auxillary. Mrs. Patterson was a volunteer at the Bellwood Senior Center. She enjoyed crocheting.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. sunday, February 2, 2003 at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday February 3, 2002 at the Grace Lutheran Church, Bellwood where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service, with Rev. Carl Alexy officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Louella’s Memory may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church, North 4th and Cambria Streets, Bellwood.
