This week is National Library Week and the Tyrone-Snyder Public Library is celebrating.
This week, there is a used book sale, featuring a huge selection of adult and children books. Library officials say: “Take what you want, give what you can.”
This week is also Amnesty Week, meaning there will be no fines charged for overdue books, audios, videos and magazines. To take advantage of this program, the items must be returned this week.
Also, on Thursday at 7 p.m., local author Jerry Zolten will be available for a book signing and reading of excerpts from his recently critically acclaimed book: Great God A’Mighty: The Dixie Hummingbirds Celebrating the Rise of Soul Gospel Music.
