Chain saw theft
5/5 – State police report someone stole a Polar chain saw from a residence in Snyder Township. Police value the item at $110.

Harassing message
5/5 – State police report a business in Antis Township received a harassing message on a voice mail account at 7:33 p.m. The investigation is continuing.

Smashed mailbox
5/7 – Robert Kimberling of RD 4 Tyrone reported to state police that sometime between 6 – 8:15 p.m., someone smashed his mailbox, located along township Route 515.

Underage drinking arrest
5/9 – State police report a 20-year-old Tyrone man was arrested for underage drinking following a motor vehicle stop near Gannister Bridge in Woodbury Township. Police said the man was a passenger in the vehicle and that he did test positive for alcohol on a breath test.
He was cited and released. Police said upon conviction, he will face a fine and loss of driver’s license.

ATV stolen
5/10 – James Dorminy of Tyrone reported to police that someone stole his 1998 ATV, beige in color, from his property located along state Route 350 in Warriors Mark Township. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 627-3161.
