Miss Nellie Thelma Reese, age 84, a resident of the Christine Personal Care Home, RD #3 Box 299, Tyrone for the past 8 1/2 years, died at 3:19 a.m. Thursday, November 21, 2002 at the Tyrone Hospital.
She was born April 16, 1918 at Bald Eagle, the daughter of Charles and Mintie C. (Lawton) Reese.
She never married.
She is survived by two sisters Marguerite Wolford of Tyrone and Ethel Reese of Eugene, Or., and a brother Melvin L. (Jean) Reese, RD # 3, Tyrone, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Alfred Lynn Reese, four brothers, Morris, Lynn, Homer and Paul and a sister Dorothy Green.
She attended the Bald Eagle Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
She was a homemaker. She loved animals and nature and especially her family visits.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Tyrone with Pastor Donald Roher and Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Interment will be at Bald Eagle Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home tonight from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the service.
