Alfretta B. Templeton, 98, of Epworth Manor died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003 at the manor.
Born Aug. 3, 1904 in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Bertha (Greene) Kline. She married Fred W. Templeton, who died Sept. 20, 1962.
She attended the 43rd Avenue Presbyterian Church in Glen Park, Indiana prior to returning to Pennsylvania after living in Indiana for 41 years.
She was a floral designer for the House of Flowers in Gary, Indiana. She attended Northwestern University and received a diploma in floral design. She was active in church work and loved floral designing.
She is survived by a daughter Winifred J. Moore of Chambersburg, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Templeton; father, John A. Kline; mother, Bertha Greene Kline; son, Fred C. Templeton and one grandchild and sisters Irene Buffer and Hazel A. Critzer.
Visitation will be at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Service will be held at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Linda Harter officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg on Wednesday, August 6, 2003.
