Kenneth R. Jones Sr., 43, of 6106 Fairway Lane, Wescosville, and formerly of Tyrone, died Friday, August 22, 2003 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, Lehigh County, after being stricken while walking.
He was born January 22, 1960 in Tyrone, a son of William E. and Delores A. (Kobak) Jones. On May 28, 1983, he married Shelly D. Van Allman.
Surviving is his wife, two sons, Kenneth R. Jr., and Michael C. and a daughter Heather D. all at home, his parents of Tipton, his paternal grandmother Carrie Jones of Belleville and three brothers, William E. Jr., of Tyrone, Mark L. of Hesston and Jonathan S. of Altoona.
He was currently employed as a customer service representative at Mack Trucks, Allentown for the past three years. Previously he was a service manager at Allegheny Mack Co., Milesburg. He was of Methodist faith.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Norman Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Tuesday at the Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, Pa., from 7-8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday at the Feller Memorial Home from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m.
