The Tyrone Area School District is helping to try and alleviate parking problems in Bellwood for Friday evening’s backyard clash between the Blue Devil and Golden Eagle football teams by providing a fan bus to usher people to the game.
The bus will depart from the Tyrone High School at 5:45 p.m. and return following the game. The cost of the ride is $3 per person. Those riding the bus will be responsible for their own ticket into the game.
Reservations can be made at the Tyrone Athletic Office and the spot will be reserved once payment in full is received. Reservations will be accepted until the close of school Thursday.
If there is sufficient interest, more buses will be acquired.
According to Pete Dutrow, school board member, as of yesterday, general admission tickets to the game were still available at the school.
