Blood supplies are always in demand, and the American Red Cross has scheduled several upcoming blood drives for the month of October, including: Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Bald Eagle Fire Hall; Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Tyrone Elks Lodge; Wed., Oct. 15 at the Tyrone Area High School; Friday, Oct. 17 at the Tyrone Hospital; Monday, Oct. 20 at Link Computer Corp. in Bellwood and Wed., Oct. 22 at the Bellwood Senior Center.
