Albemarle Corporation in conjunction with the Blair County Local Emergency Planning Committee will be conducting a drill involving local fire, police, EMS, and other support agencies.
The purpose of this event is to provide additional testing and training to ensure that all parties are prepared to quickly mobilize and effectively respond to any emergency situation that may arise.
The drill will take place September 27 at 8 a.m. and will be completed at approximately 1 p.m.
During the drill, emergency vehicles will utilize Adams Avenue from Tyrone Borough into Snyder Township. Adams Avenue may be closed for the safety of the emergency responder, but every effort will be made to allow traffic to flow normally.
