Hollidaysburg state police
Police report 20-year-old Darren Earl Smith of Madera and a 16-year-old juvenile female were arrested following a traffic stop along Interstate 99 in Antis Township at 9:16 p.m. on Saturday.
According to police, the driver, Smith, was found to be smoking marijuana while driving. He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.
During the investigation, numerous items of drug paraphernalia were discovered, as well as several items stolen during a retail theft spree that had occurred prior to the stop.
Items recovered were from Pier 1, Franklins, A.C. Moore, Super Petz, Hot Topic, TJ Maxx, Spencer’s and Sally Beauty Supply.
The investigation continues.

Police report 49-year-old John Kent Taylor of Tyrone was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop along state Route 4027 in front of Stultz and Brown Ford. The incident occurred at 8:07 p.m. on Sept. 24.

Paul W. Grove of RD 3 Tyrone reported to police that someone as on his front porch with a flashlight between 4:30-5 a.m. Thursday.

Huntingdon state police
Police were called to state Route 350 in Warriors Mark Township at 4:25 p.m. on Saturday to investigate an accident.
Police said Tighe Brandon Eaken of Tyrone lost control of his 1994 Chevy truck while rounding a curve. His vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane and crashed into a vehicle operated by Robert Allen of Hollidaysburg.
No injuries were reported, but that portion of SR 350 was closed for more than an hour. Traffic control was provided by the Warriors Mark/Franklin Volunteer Fire Company.
