Hollidaysburg state police
Police were called to state Route 4019 in Antis Township at 3:20 p.m. yesterday to investigate an accident.
Police said Melissa M. Collins of Altoona was northbound when he lost control of his Chevy Blazer on the wet roadway. The vehicle sideswiped a southbound vehicle operated by John T. Buechele of Altoona.
No injuries were reported.

William C. Leonard of Altoona complained of chest pain following an accident that occurred at 3:50 p.m. yesterday along state Route 4018 in Antis Township.
Police said wet roadways were again to be blamed as Leonard lost control of his vehicle and struck the guiderails.
He was transported to Altoona Hospital.

Police report the arrest of 46-year-old John William Baird of Tyrone.
Police said Baird was stopped for summary traffic violations along SR 764 in front of Bellemeade Motors in Antis Township at 12:38 a.m. Nov. 7. He was given field sobriety tests, which police said he failed.

Police report Joseph Zambiella of Tyrone was uninjured after his vehicle struck a deer while traveling northbound on SR 1001 in Antis Township at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

Police report someone gained entrance into a business along the Bald Eagle Pike in Snyder Township on Friday and removed $300 in cash.

Police received a report from a Snyder Township resident concerning criminal mischief/criminal trespassing.
Police were told that a person known to the caller entered her residence without permission and an altercation ensued with this person and another. While leaving the scene, the unwanted person rammed an unattended vehicle with his vehicle then fled the scene.

Stephen Allen Weyer, a resident of RD 3 Tyrone, on Decker Road, told police that someone broke into his shed on Nov. 11 and removed two all-terrain vehicles. Police value the vehicles at $5,000.
