Hollidaysburg state police
Police were called to state Route 764, in front of Splinters’ in Antis Township, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to investigate an accident.
Police said Liam Payne of Altoona was northbound and as he slowed his car to turn right, was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Brian Carter of Altoona.
A passenger in each vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Daniel Sharer of Snyder Township reported to police that sometime between 6 a.m. Nov. 18 and 10 p.m. Nov. 21, someone forced their way into his unoccupied residence and ransacked it.
Stolen were a Glock pistol, a Remington shotgun and a DeWalt mitre box.
Police are continuing to investigate.
Huntingdon state police
Darren Lynn Hoover of Warriors Mar reported to police that someone cut a total of six tires on two separate vehicles while they were parked along Grange Road, east of SR 550 in Warriors Mark township.
Police said the incident occurred between 2-9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 627-3161.
Philipsburg state police
Police report a 38-year-old Tyrone man was arrested for driving under the influence following a routine traffic stop along state Route 550, approximately 3/4 of a mile north of Sandy Ridge in Centre County.
Police said charges were filed before District Justice Allen Sinclair in Philipsburg.
