It’s that time of year again for the Elks’ sponsored Basketball Hoop Shoot.
The Tyrone Elks are among those sponsoring the hoop shooting contests. Participants will have their choice of entering the contsest at Building II in Altoona or at the Garver YMCA in Rparing Spring
Contest dates are as follows: Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003 at the Tyrone Elementary School gym at 1:00, Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004 at the Building II gym in Altoona, at 1:00 PM and Saturday. Jan. 10, 2004 at the Garver YMCA in Roaring Spring at 3:00 PM.
The competitions are open to all area youth ages eight to 13, as of April 1, 2004.
Top finishers in each of these contests will move on our local finals.
There is no fee to enter.
