James Paul (Pollie) Rogalla, 64, of Altoona, died Sunday, February 8, 2004 at his home.
James was born June 18, 1939 to Michael J. and Kathleen C. (Bradley) Rogalla of Gallitzin.
James served with the United States Army, was a member of the Cesare Battisti Club and a retired employee of L.S. Fiore Construction, Inc. Jim was an avid fisherman, loved hunting and stock car racing.
He is survived by two daughters, Jody K. of Tyrone and Jaime E. of Altoona, three stepchildren, Pamela (Strohmeyer) Snyder of Ohio, Charles Strohmeyer of Everett and Timothy Strohmeyer of Williamsburg, a grandson, Chase McClellan of Tyrone and a step grandson, Dillon Snyder in Ohio.
Also surviving is a brother, John Rogalla in Arizona, several nieces, aunts and uncles. James was preceded in death by his father and mother and one sister, Barbara (Rogalla) Johnson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2004 at the Greenwood United Methodist Church, with Pastor Judith P. Hulslander officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Trout Unlimited, 304 Union Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
