The Tyrone elementary wrestlers were been busy during the month of January.
On Jan. 3, Zachariah Hoffman and Jhon Hoffman wrestled at Northern Bedford with John Hoffman winning third place.
At Mount Union on Jan. 10, Dusty Stroup, David Harris and Tommy Long all finished first, Ryan Fink was third and Ty Snyder, Tyler Wiser, Dustin Sprankle and Tim Long also wrestled.
Also on Jan 10, at Dubois, Elijah Sleeth and Michael Sleeth wrestled with Elijah finishing third.
A day later, on Jan. 11, at Central Cambria, Tyler Wiser won his age and weight class, Jacob Berry was second, Darren Reese was third, Terel Albright fourth, with Zach Soellner, Nathaniel Soellner and Andrew Warrender participating.
At Clearfield on Jan. 17, Elijah Sleeth and Ryan Fink were first, Michael Sleeth finished fourth and Ty Snyder, and Dustin Stroup also wrestled.
Also on Jan. 17, at Cambria Heights, Nick Getz and Christian Getz finished second and Blake Brooks was third.
Andrew Warrender was a first place winner at Ferndale on Jan. 18.
At Indian Valley on Jan 24., Andrew Warrender and Chris Gardner finished in first place and Jhon Hoffman was second. Also participating were Ty Snyder, Darren Reese, Cody Nail, Jacob Dorminy, Dustin Sprankle, Tyler Wiser and Zachariah Hoffman.
Also on Jan. 24, Dusty Stroup, Michael Sleeth, Elijah Sleeth, Ryan Fink and Blake Brooks wrestled at Bellefonte.
On Jan. 25, Jacob Berry wrestled in a tournament at Punxsutawney.
At Bellwood, on Jan. 31, Dustin Stroup finished third and Cody Nail, Jacob Berry, Corey Snyder, Tom Long, Tim Long Christian Getz and Nicholas Getz also wrestled.
Finally, although the month was over, the elementary wrestlers keep going.
On Feb. 7, Tyler Wiser paced third and Jacob Berry also participated in a tournament at Moshannon Valley.
