Republican Congressman Bill Shuster was expected to visit J. C. Blair Hospital in Huntingdon today as a continuing effort to discuss the passage of the landmark medicare prescription drug legislation and other important health care issues.
The congressman is also expected to meet with administrators from four Blair County hospitals on Friday at his offices in Hollidaysburg.
Officials from Tyrone Hospital are due to participate along with representatives from Nason, Bon Secours and Altoona Hospital.
Congressman Shuster also plans to meet with reporters late Friday morning after the conference with the hospital officials.
