The Bellwood-Antis golf team opened their season on Thursday hosting a match against Penns Valley and Altoona at Sinking Valley Country Club.
Altoona 3-0 overall, breezed to a pair of wins in the team competition with a total score of 330. Penns Valley split the matches falling to Altoona 404-330 and defeating Bellwood-Antis 404-487. Bellwood-Antis dropped matches to Altoona 330-487 and Penns Valley 404-487.
Altoona’s Chris Perry was the individual medalist with a score of 77,.
Austin Smucker shot an 85 to lead Penns Valley (3-2),
Low scorer for the Blue Devils (0-2) was Adam Mueller with 119 and Blake Link and Ted Bailor, each with 122.
