Denise A. Day, 46, of 521 Oak Street, Tyrone, died Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 8:25 a.m. at her home.
She was born November 17, 1957, in Tyrone, a daughter of William C. and Margaret I. (Hosband) Snyder. On May 26, 1984, in Tyrone, she married Ralph E. Day. He died October 3, 2002.
Surviving is a daughter, Melanie N. and a son, Matthew W., both at home, two stepdaughters, Carol Bennett and Stephanie DelBaggio, both of Tyrone, three stepsons, Rick, Scott, and Dean (Jason), all of Tyrone, four brothers, William of Altoona, Robert of Tyrone, David of Warriors Mark, James of Sinking Valley and a sister Linda Kuhn of Hollidaysburg.
She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Assembly of God Church and a 1975 graduate of Tyrone Area High School.
She was previously employed in the cafeteria at Tyrone Area High School for several years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Feller Memorial Home with Rev. James Belzano officiating. Interment will follow at Blair Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
