A 50-year-old Tyrone man was involved in a DUI-related accident on Jan. 13 at 9:20 p.m.
The incident occurred when David Robert Ewing drove his truck into a ditch at the intersection of Maple Street and State Route 4023 in Antis Township.
Ewing was wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries in the accident. State police said he was charged with DUI.
His truck had moderate damage.

Huntingdon-based state police report two Tyrone residents were involved in a three-vehicle accident in Smithfield Township on Jan. 25 at 10:24 a.m.
According to a press release, all three vehicles were southbound on Fairgrounds Road when a truck driven by 40-year-old Terence Conrad of Tyrone was making a left turn into 84 Lumber and was stopped for oncoming traffic.
The driver of the vehicle behind the truck, 39-year-old Gina Sunderland of Newton Hamilton, was distracted and failed to see the truck was stopped and hit its rear.
The driver of the vehicle behind Sunderland’s, 38-year-old William Benzie, Jr., failed to see it was stopped and hit Sunderland’s vehicle in the rear.
None of the drivers were injured in the accident and all were wearing seat belts except Benzie, Jr.
Jesse Barley, 23, Tyrone, was a passenger in Conrad’s truck. He was also wearing a seat belt.
The vehicles driven by Sunderland and Benzie, Jr. had moderate damage. Conrad’s truck had minor damage.

State police report two accidents on Interstate 99 South, near Bald Eagle, Snyder Township on Jan. 29 at 7:33 p.m.
In the first incident, a State College woman and an Altoona man were involved in a two-vehicle accident.
Twenty-year-old Jenny Edwards was traveling southbound in the right lane while 29-year-old Jeremy Phillips was driving south in the left lane of the highway.
Edwards lost control on the snow-covered road and slid into the path of Philips’ vehicle. His car struck Edwards’ vehicle left front to rear left. Philips’ car had to be towed.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
In the other incident, police said a car driven by 19-year-old Toure J. Manning of Altoona was going south on the road in the left lane. The car changed to the right lane moving into the path of a vehicle operated by Kaleigh C. Wilson of Altoona.
Wilson’s car struck Manning’s front to rear.
Manning was treated at Tyrone Hospital for minor injuries. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Manning’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

A rural Tyrone man was accused of public drunkenness after an incident along Hite Hollow Road, off of State Route 4023 on Jan. 29 at 10:55 p.m.
Forty-four-year-old Timothy Charles Sprankle of RD 2, Tyrone lost control of his vehicle while driving on a private roadway. Police said he was intoxicated at the time and charges were filed before Magisterial District Judge Fred Miller.

New Pig Corporation reported a criminal mischief incident on its Antis Township property sometime between Jan. 29 and Jan. 31.
A vehicle was driven onto the property and landscaping and a stop sign were damaged.
The vehicle was described as gray in color and the incident was pending further investigation at the time of the police release on Monday.
