Everyone get ready for some baseball!
The second annual Tyrone Community Night at the Altoona Curve is scheduled for June 12 at 6:05 p.m.
The Altoona Curve will be taking on the Akron Aeros.
Entertainment scheduled for the evening includes: pre-game activities, the National Anthem sung by a TAHS student, first pitch, Field of Dreams by a local little league team, seventh inning stretch sung by a TAHS student, between inning activities, birthday announcements and more.
Fireworks are scheduled to follow the game.
Tickets are currently being sold for $6 per seat at the Tyrone Area Chamber of Commerce office.
Individuals may also register to win four seats in section 103: Seats 1 and 2 of Row 1 and 2 and a parking pass to be to be given away on Friday, June 3 courtesy of Tammy Datris of JJAN Financial Services.
Also, if any group or organization is thinking about a fundraiser, contact the Chamber office for information about selling tickets as a fundraiser.
Sponsorship opportunities for Tyrone Night are also available for businesses or organizations who are interested in displaying their materials.
Those who are sponsors will also get their name on the Tyrone Community Night T-shirt.
If an organization spends $375, they will receive 75 tickets, a table on the main concourse to display information about the company, their company name as a sponsor mentioned on the public address and local advertising.
Those businesses who spend $275, will receive 50 tickets, their company name as a sponsor mentioned on public address and local advertising.
If an organization spends $150, they will receive 25 tickets and local advertising.
