Frank I. Longenecker, 62, of Altoona, died Monday, at Altoona Regional Health Center, Bon Secours Campus.
He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Kenneth and Marjorie (Pepple) Longenecker.
He married Susan J. Kinser on May 14, 1966 at First Grace Brethren Church, Altoona, where he was a member.
He was self-employed as owner of Longenecker Electric. He was a 1961 graduate of Altoona High School.
Mr. Longenecker is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan; a son, Kevin L., husband of Wendy, Altoona and a daughter, Kendra S. Napolitana, wife of Anthony, of Wyomissing; a grandson, Joshua L. Longenecker; his mother Marjorie Mae of Tyrone and a sister, Loreda L. Eckert, wife of Dallas, of Tyrone.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata.
Funeral and committal services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. John C. Townsend officiating.
Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made directly to the family.
