Grace Baptist Church of Tyrone invites children ages three-years-old through sixth grades to the Serengeti Trek Vacation Bible School: \”Where Kids Are Wild About God!\”
Serengeti Trek begins on Sunday, July 31 and continues through Thursday, August 4. Children should meet at the Grace Baptist Church on Columbia Ave. across from East End Pizza each day from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
This year, the kids will be exploring with excitement as they go on a Serengeti Trek. The Serengeti Trek program will provide fun, memorable Bible learning activities for pre-school and elementary-age kids.
Each day kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble \”Watering Hole\” snacks, take on a daily challenge to let God\’s love grow into their homes, experience electrifying Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God\’s Word, and create Bible point Crafts they’ll take home and play with all year long.
Serengeti Trek is an exciting way for kids to learn more about God\’s Love and how to love others better. They\’ll be studying stories about men and women in the Bible who were “wild” about God. The kids will also be able to help families in Africa by the exciting “penny offering” each night to collect money for teaching supplies for African children. Each evening concludes at the “mane event” – a celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they\’ve learned.
Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 8 p.m.
To pre-register or for more information, call 684-5016 and ask for Nathan Van Prooyen.
A closing program by the children will be held for the families on Sunday evening, August 6, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
