A Snyder Township home was the scene of a burglary in early July.
The home of 54-year-old Michael A. McNeal was entered sometime between midnight on July 1 and 7 a.m. on July 5.
Several Sony Playstation games and a 14 karat gold ring were removed. The value of the items was listed at $560.

A 24-year-old Tyrone man was injured in a one vehicle accident on July 29 at 4:20 a.m. in Warriors Mark Township.
Steven M. Carroll was northbound on State Route 550, approximately three-fourths of a mile north of State Route 4025.
Carroll’s car struck a concrete bridge rail on the east side of the road. The car then continued to travel north and struck the east guide rail. Carroll’s car traveled over an embankment on the east side of the road. The car rolled over as it traveled down the embankment.
Carroll’s car struck a fence at the bottom of the embankment and came to rest on its wheels in a field east on the roadway. Carroll was taken to Tyrone Hospital for treatment. Police said he was not wearing a seat belt and no airbag deployed during the accident. Carroll’s vehicle had heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene.

State police reported a theft at Tyrone Milling in Snyder Township sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m., Saturday.
Someone took a removable aluminum tail gate off a Ford F350 owned by the Mill. Police were continuing their investigation as of earlier this week.

Nelson Brother’s Chevrolet in Snyder Township was the scene of criminal mischief last Saturday between 2 and 4:45 p.m.
Someone broke the right side rear window out of a 2001 Olds Silhouette van.

A 17-year-old girl, Stevie Marie Daus, lost control of the car in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 4015 in Antis Township earlier this week.
The accident happened shortly before 8 a.m. on Aug. 1 when Daus’ car left the road and eventually struck a tree about 60 feet from the road.
Daus was reportedly wearing a seat belt and was taken to Altoona Hospital for treatment of injuries. A passenger, 14-year-old Matthew Daus, of Altoona, was seated in the front of the car and was thrown into the rear seat. Another passenger, 19-year-old Robert Deyarmin of Altoona, and the younger Daus had to be extricated by fire personnel. Both were taken to Altoona Hospital for treatment. Police said both teens were wearing seat belts.
