The Tyrone Junior High girls basketball team beat Huntingdon yesterday for their first win of the season.
Both the ninth grade and wighth grade teams picked up wins.
The ninth graders smashed Huntingdon 51-28 in the A game. Rachel Emigh had 22 points to lead the Lady Eagles and Crystal Waite contributed 13.
In the B game, the Tyrone girls won 28-6 with Brooke Romano leading the team with 14 points.
The next games for the Tyrone junior high (1-7) will be against Bellwood-Antis at home starting at 3:15 .
