The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball team conquered another obstacle on their way to their third consecutive MAC Division III crown running by Claysburg-Kimmel in three straight games.
Playing at Claysburg, the Lady Blue Devils won 25-15, 25-9 and 25-13 to improve their record to 6-0 in the MAC and 8-0 overall.
Lauren Carter led the way for Bellwood-Antis with 18 service points, nine digs, 11 kills and four blocks. Chelsey Wilson added 10 service points, nine kills, including five aces and three blocks
“The girls have set high goals for the season,” explained Bellwood-Antis coach Stephanie Burner. “I try to keep them focused on taking it one match at a time and to make improvements each game. The girls stayed focused last night, played at their level, and finished the game. They continue to impress me”
The Bellwood-Antis junior varsity also remained undefeated by ripping the Lady Bulldogs in two staright games 25-7 and 25-8.
The Bellwood-Antis volleyball team will sponsor the annual B-A Invitational on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m., with their next dual meet on Monday at home against Bishop Guilfoyle at 4 p.m.
